Houselights will be running a series of three workshops for students and industry professionals on understanding how harassment manifests, its impacts and building tools to create safe working practice for all.
…because we want to live in a world where no one has to say #MeToo ever again!
We deliver interactive workshops to Drama Schools, Arts Universities and other campuses across the country. Our workshops help students to understand the impact of sexual harassment in our industry, develop the skills necessary to be an active bystander, as well as developing a toolkit for classes to promote safe working practice for all. If you want to bring Houselights to your students.
We work with staff groups from a range of institutions and universities, facilitating conversations about how their sexual harassment policy can be translated into action on campus. If you’re interested in one of these workshops for your staff members please email Rachel.
We are proud to run a network for Women in positions of student leadership in Drama Schools and Conservatories. These monthly meetings are a chance for Women’s Officers (or equivalent) to come together and share resources to act effectively on sexual harassment. We’d like to thank The Royal Court Theatre for providing us with the space to run the first few network sessions. If you’d like to be part of this network please email Rachel.
By donating to Houselights you’ll be supporting our efforts to make sure that the entertainment industry is a safe place for everyone to work. Up until October 2019, your donation will go straight towards our Shining A Light short course, a series of practical workshops to help people understand the impact of harassment, challenge it when they see it and come up with their own projects to support the cause.
Please note that Houselights admin takes place on Friday and weekends. Please accept apologies for any delayed response to your email.
